Pyxis Imposed XD 4.9.7.4 (released April 12 2024)

Version 4.9.7.4 ~ A number of new features included, notably an option to impose with outer trim marks from the original file only. Booklet imposition can now handle much larger file sizes.

IMPORTANT

When updating from any version pre 4.7.6.0 you will need to re-register your application. You can use your existing username and password.  If forgotten, you can recover your username and password by clicking the Lost Login Details button which will appear after clicking the REG button on the bottom left corner of the application user interface.

Note on Apple Mac Downloads

Version 4.9.7.4 is suitable for Mac OSX 10.8 +. If you need a version for an older Mac, please contact support. 

Installation: Upgrading and first time installation employ the exact same process. Ideally download with either a Firefox or Safari browser.  Then double click on the DMG file when download is complete.  Agree to the licence and then drag the red Pyxis Imposed icon onto the Applications folder shortcut icon provided. If you are updating, choose the option to replace the existing application.  If you have a shortcut in your Doc, the updated application will automatically re-link. Double click on the icon to launch. The first launch after first-time installation or update will take a moment as Gatekeeper examines the file. The system will display a message informing you that this application has been downloaded from the internet. Choose the Open option to continue and launch the application. Important: If running on the very latest Mac OS, you may need to open your Apple Preferences, and switch to the Security & Privacy section. As Pyxis is not using Apple’s latest ‘Notarize’ feature, a button labelled ‘Run Anyway‘ will appear in the security & privacy area. Click this button to launch.

Note on Pyxis Imposed XD for Windows PC

Pyxis Imposed XD 4.9.7.0 is compatible with all Windows 64 BIT PC machines, subject to available RAM. Note that you can update any version of Pyxis Imposed XD by downloading and installing the latest trial version. Only the necessary files will be updated. If you require a version for an older 32 bit machine, please contact us for relevant information. Note that 32 bit versions of Pyxis software applications either have been or will be discontinued in the very near future.
