IMPORTANT: Originally there were both a single user and a multi-user versions. Since that time, the product has been simplified to a single version that can be installed once or multiple times on a network. Users can therefore begin using Workflow on one machine and if demand increases, they can purchase additional licences. Please contact us directly and we will setup a cloud database and provide an Apple Mac or Windows PC installer, or both, for you to test the application. Note that it will take one or two days to prepare your cloud database. If you decide to continue using the product, the cloud database can be reset or you can continue to use it for the fully licensed version. Workflow 4.0 – Getting Started

If you are interested in trying Workflow, please contact us regarding installation.

After installation, follow the steps below to get the application up and running as quickly as possible. 

Note that the current version is 4.3.2.4

  1. Click the Admin -> Business Settings menu link at the top of the window.
  2. Here, ensure your business details and and VAT Rates are correct. If you do not charge VAT enter a single VAT rate of zero. 
  3. Adjust the Hourly Charge and Markup values in-line with your business model.
  4. Before clicking the Save Business Information button it is important to double check spelling as the details entered are used to automatically generate custom pdf documents.
  5. Finally switch to the Preferences menu and choose each sub-menu in turn to enter machines, materials, times and finishing options. This will take a little time, depending on the complexity of your business. If you are uncertain about any detail you can return to these settings at any time and update the information entered.
  6. You are now ready to enter your first customer and and create your first estimate with Pyxis Workflow. If you have any queries please contact support.
